Violin
Singaporean violinist Wilford Goh is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, London, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and the Universität Mozarteum, Salzburg, where he studied extensively with notable musicians and pedagogues including Jan Repko, Chen Jiafeng, Niel Immelman, Esther Hoppe, Gabrielle Lester, and members of the Sacconni Quartet, Lindsays Quartet, Cuarteto Quiroga, and Tana Quartet. He has also had the privilege of working in Europe and the United Kingdom with orchestras such as the Camerata Salzburg and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under esteemed leaders and conductors.
Now based in Singapore, Wilford is currently first violinist of the Concordia Quartet and serves as the Head of Strings at Forté Musicademy. In addition to his chamber music and teaching responsibilities, he is also a regular freelancer of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and performs as Concertmaster and Principal Violinist in ensembles such as the Orchestra of the Music Makers, re:Sound Chamber Orchestra, the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, the Singapore Lyric Opera, and the Wayfarer Sinfonietta.
